So, it’s great to find great recipes and programs like the Tyson Foods’, 30 Days, 30 Ways, 30 Rewards program. The goal of the program is to empower users to make and stick to their smart-eating resolutions. To help, Tyson Foods has teamed up again with guilt-free food expert, Hungry Girl Lisa Lillien! Awesome, right?!

Doesn’t that all look good?! As part of Tyson’s30 Days, 30 Ways, 30 Rewards program, Hungry Girl Lisa Lillien will bring meal ideas like those listed below– all under 400 calories per serving! Once you sign-up, there is a new recipe, tip and prize will be revealed each day to provide participants with fresh ideas and inspiration! Prizes are super fun, but honestly, I’m most excited about the quick-to-prepare, guilt-free recipes! 🙂 I love finding new, healthy meal ideas. And, it’s great when those recipes are fairly quick to prepare. Products like Tyson® Grilled & Ready® chicken and beef help make healthy eating so convenient! The line includes Chicken Breast Strips, Chicken Breast Fillets, Fajita Chicken Breast Strips, Honey BBQ Seasoned Chicken Breast Strips, Chicken Breast Chunks, Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast, Southwestern Chicken Breast Strips and Seasoned Steak Strips. Yum! So, here are 3 delish Hungry Girl recipes using the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® chicken:

1) Too-Good Chicken Torta

This meal offers convenience and good quality ingredients so it’s now easier than ever to whip up an enjoyable meal. Serving Size: 1

Good Eating Habits with Hungry Girl Recipes & Tyson's 30 Days, 30 Ways, 30 Rewards Program - Mom Endeavors (2)

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
  • One 100-calorie flat sandwich bun
  • 1/2 ounce (about 1 tablespoon) mashed avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon diced tomato
  • 1/2 tablespoon diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free refried beans
  • 1 tablespoon shredded reduced-fat Mexican-blend cheese
  • 1 large tomato slice
  • 1/3 cup shredded lettuce

Directions:

  1. Split bun into halves, and lightly toast.
  2. In a small bowl, mix avocado with 1/4 teaspoon taco seasoning. Stir in diced tomato and onion.
  3. In another small bowl, mix beans with remaining 1/4 teaspoon taco seasoning.
  4. On a microwave-safe plate, spread seasoned beans onto the bottom half of the bun. Evenly top with Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Strips. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Microwave for 45 seconds, or until cheese has melted and chicken is hot.
  6. Top with tomato and lettuce. Spread the top half of the bun with the avocado mixture, and place it on top of the sandwich. Enjoy!

2) Pizza-fied Chicken Good Eating Habits with Hungry Girl Recipes & Tyson's 30 Days, 30 Ways, 30 Rewards Program - Mom Endeavors (3)

Recipe courtesy of Hungry Girl and it’s especially great for the “Willpower Challenged”: Those that start out strong, but their follow-through fades and they can easily slide back into their old habits. This tasty dish will keep them encouraged while they develop new healthy eating habits. Serving Size: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Frozen Chicken Breast Fillet
  • 1 stick light string cheese
  • 1/4 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Dash each salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons diced onion
  • 4 slices turkey pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-fat Parmesan-style grated topping

Directions:

  1. Place Grilled & Ready® Frozen Chicken Breast Fillet on a microwave-safe plate. Cover and microwave for 2-1/2 minutes.
  2. Tear string cheese into pieces, and roughly chop.
  3. Place crushed tomatoes in a small bowl, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper.
  4. Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat. Cook bell pepper, mushrooms, and onion until softened, 4-6 minutes.
  5. Remove veggies. If needed, clean skillet. Remove from heat, respray, and return to medium heat.
  6. Place chicken in the skillet. Evenly top with seasoned tomatoes, followed by cheese, veggies and pepperoni.
  7. Cover and cook until cheese has melted and entire dish is hot, about 1 minute.
  8. Sprinkle with Parm-style topping, and enjoy!

Recipe courtesy of Hungry Girl and it’s especially great for the “Time Crunched”: Those that know how to eat right and how important it is to work out, but never seem to have enough time in their day. This recipe is a great way to simplify a meal, while keeping it nutritious, delicious and low-calorie. Serving Size: 1

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
  • 1/4 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons drained and chopped roasted red peppers (packed in water)
  • 1 tablespoon roughly chopped, pitted kalamata olives
  • 1 tablespoon light vinaigrette
  • 2 corn taco shells (flat-bottomed, if available)
  • 2 dashes dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled, fat-free feta cheese

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix lettuce, onion, red peppers, olives and vinaigrette.
  2. Divide Grilled & Ready® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips between taco shells, and sprinkle with oregano. Top with lettuce mixture, followed by feta cheese.
  3. Now chew!
